This children's book, written by Lauren Streifer, is about a little boy, the King, who rules his kingdom being capricious and rude. One day, something unexpected happens: a good word comes out of the king instead of rudeness and demands, and everything around him changes.Storyboard.
A simple colour scheme was chosen from the king's brown tan, blue shorts, gold crown and bright red for the elk, a second character that appears in different images at each spread, and readers can look for him. Sometimes he turns into a bicycle, sometimes into a balloon. For me, this red moose has become a collective image of cordiality, sincerity and kindness.

Character of the “King”
The author gave me total freedom, and I suggested that the main character should be portrayed as wild, passionate, stubborn and barefoot, with a homemade scepter made of stick and apple. No one can cope with it, the citizens of the town are afraid when the king is nearby and the parents are trying in vain to please him.

This book gave me a different perspective on myself, as I am the mother of the same 3-year-old "King" from whom I was looking at the features and manners for the main character in the book. Interesting Sketches I will be able to show in public a little later. I am looking forward to seeing this story published.
